SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND:

The_Lord's_Heart_For_Intercession

Bob Jones and Keith Davis - April 15, 1999

Graciously, the Lord has given increased revelation concerning the issues of His heart for this season in which we are presently living. The Scriptures teach us that we must understand both the kindness and severity of God to fully comprehend His nature. Though it would be much more pleasant to declare that "all is well", we cannot when the Spirit is saying otherwise. We can, however, emphatically declare that the Lord Jesus is more than able to see us through every storm and causes all things to work together for good toward those that love Him. In Him and Him alone rests our complete hope.

The following prophecy is given to assist us in joining ourselves in one accord and united in purpose as we declare the Lord’s heart for intercession. There is a notable distinction between intercession and spiritual warfare, though very often done by the same people. In intercession we direct our prayers to the Lord as our Mediator Who ever lives to make intercession on our behalf. Through intercession we come before the throne of grace seeking mercy and the release of His divine power and authority to intervene in the issues of life. When the effectual fervent prayers of faith have been received, He then releases His authority and timing for victory, thus equipping His people to then directly address the forces of darkness in spiritual warfare. It is wisdom to receive from the Lord His strategy before directly engaging strongholds of the enemy in spiritual warfare. Even the great warrior King David inquired of the Lord before engaging the enemies of Israel. We cannot act presumptuously; rather wait patiently upon the Lord to receive His strategy from behind the veil.

The church has been given the authority over all the power of the evil one according to the scriptures. Even so, we must be armed with the wisdom of Heaven to appropriate that power and authority. Even the Lord Himself did nothing except what He saw the Father doing and spoke nothing but what He heard from the Spirit. It is important for us to remember these principles as we battle Basilisk and the other enemies of the church. Repentance and consecration will prepare us for this battle and the equipping necessary.

In Bob's vision an Angel approached him with a beautiful plate of food. Bob knew this food would be good and delicious yet declined it indicating that he was waiting upon the Lord to dine with Him. A second Angel also brought an equally beautiful plate of food. Bob's response to him was the same as the first. Finally, a third Angel also brought a pleasing plate of food for Bob to enjoy. For the third time Bob declined, now insisting upon waiting for the Lord to dine with Him remembering the promise to Mephibosheth to dine at the King’s table.

Bob respectfully declined the offer from the three angels, though what they conveyed was clearly sent from the Lord. Instead he insisted upon waiting for the promise to dine with the King. Each of the three plates contained desirous delicacies producing good and beneficial results. However, they were not the highest opportunity available. "Good" can very often be the enemy of the "Best". It wasn't the food that was important but the company in which the food was shared. It was fellowship with the Lord that provided the greatest opportunity and that for which we must patiently wait.

Bob then saw the Lord approaching and anxiously commented that he had been waiting to dine with Him. Though a banquet table had been elaborately prepared, even the Lord declined to dine, instead proclaiming that He has not come to share in food but to pray. The Lord then extended an invitation to all that would come to join hands with Him forming a circle for the purpose of interceding according to the burden of His Heart.

Bob was not allowed to join the circle but was instructed to stand as a watchman and observe. All of this reflected the Lord's desire to establish a school of intercession declaring in the heavens the thoughts and ways of the Father. There is going to be an emphasis of the Spirit on prayer and intercession in the season we are now entering.

Bob's purpose was to bear witness to the things he was observing. Though Bob identified some that initially joined with the Lord, many others whom he did not know began to join their hands in this circle as it increased around the world. Bob's desire was to participate in this powerful circle of intercessors but was instructed to stand to the side and contemplate what he saw that he could accurately proclaim it to others.

The Lord stated that 20 years ago He released the anointing to begin the school of prophetic training. This release of the Spirit was for the purpose of instructing the church to identify true spiritual revelation. This anointing and equipping ministry is necessary to proclaim the desires and issues of the Lord’s heart for intercession. Now the Lord is going to raise a school of intercession allowing the seasoned and experienced intercessors the opportunity to instruct this generation on true spiritual intercession and warfare. The revelation gifts are intended to provide insight to no longer pray TO Him, rather WITH Him... proclamation by revelation and supplication in agreement with the Spirit.

The Lord did not come to socialize... He came to pray; for He ever lives to make intercession. The Lord is going to release the revelation of His heart of intercession so that we can join in agreement with Him. Our prayers then become creative because we are in agreement with the Creator. (Isaiah 48:6-7)

"You have heard; look at all this. And you, will you not declare it? I proclaim to you new things from this time, even hidden things which you have not known.

"They are created now and not long ago; and before today you have not heard them, lest you should say, 'Behold, I knew them.'
"You have not heard, you have not known. Even from long ago your ear has not been open, because I knew that you would deal very treacherously; and you have been called a rebel from birth.

When we agree with God by hearing and obeying, it becomes creative. Inclining our ear to the Lord and obeying His Voice and proclaiming it in agreement with Him produces creative faith.

Bob also saw a national emergency requiring an executive order to be promulgated and enacted. A national calamity is at hand. This calamity may involve some in the highest level of government within our nation. The result of these events will precede a political mandate that could actually be the stepping stone to a season of martial law in our country.

Bob then saw fire... fire... and more fire. Fire coming from the West, East, South and North. This represented both natural and spiritual fire. They are fires of destruction fueled by an East wind. He was then given Psalms 48:7:
With the east wind Thou dost break the ships of Tarshish.

The winds are going to blow against the "ships of Tarshish", representing the leadership of the United States. The Lord has very often used Tarshih to symbolize this nation and its prophetic implications. "Ships" speak of leadership. The fire cannot be stopped. However, we are given the divine opportunity to intercede and prohibit all of these events from occurring simultaneously. Through intercession the "fires" can be staggered making it much more tolerable and manageable in prayer.

Many horrific events are being prepared to be released. Some of these events can be delayed so that one may be battled without the others also occurring at the same time. This will depend upon the intercessors. They will be able to extinguish portions of these fires as their prayers become heavenly "precipitation". The Lord told Bob that the fires cannot be stopped, however, we can prevent them from occurring all at one time and their effects can be curtailed. These are spiritual fires that will be verified by natural fires.

The Lord instructed Bob to announce to the church, "DO NOT FAINT AT THIS TIME FOR THE FIRES WILL LEAVE THE ASHES OF RENEWAL." These events are part of the preparation in righteousness necessary for the coming harvest. Beware when they say peace and prosperity for that is when sudden destruction will come. This describes our present condition. These events are directly related to the revelation of the Basilisk and the disruption this evil Spirit desires to bring to this nation, around the world, and especially against Israel.

In the Basilisk revelation, Bob saw this Spirit brooding over a nest of eggs. The Lord has given further insight concerning this aspect of the vision disclosing that there were seven eggs within this nest representing seven target points: The Balkans; Israel; Iraq\Syria; Iran\Libya; North Korea; China; and Africa. The eggs also represented seven types of devastation: terrorism; pestilence; famine; war\political upheaval; storms\natural disasters; earthquakes; and financial calamity. (See "Note to Intercessors" directory for further detail on this)

He sent upon them His burning anger, fury, and indignation, and trouble, a band of destroying angels. (Ps. 78:49)
Each of these will have direct and indirect application to the United States. These events will be so powerful that it would be overwhelming if they all occurred simultaneously. Our grace is to pray that they are staggered so that one can be dealt with before moving to the next. It is the Lord’s desire that this nation survive. It is the enemy’s desire to destroy this nation and ultimately Israel. The judgments that are coming are for the purpose of establishing righteousness in our land so that the power of heaven can be released.

From the ashes shall come the "fires of renewal". We must be joined with the Lord through the intercession of His heart.

The One forming light and creating darkness, causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the LORD who does all these. "Drip down, O heavens, from above, and let the clouds pour down righteousness; let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, and righteousness spring up with it. I, the LORD, have created it. "Woe to {the one} who quarrels with his maker-- an earthenware vessel among the vessels of earth! Will the clay say to the potter, 'What are you doing?' Or the thing you are making {say,} 'He has no hands'? "Woe to him who says to a father, 'What are you begetting?' Or to a woman, 'To what are you giving birth?'" Thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: "Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, and you shall commit to me the work of My hands. (Isaiah 45:7-11)

These events were represented to Bob as "wildfires". In the vision Bob called for people to form a line to "pass the water bucket" in order to fight the fires. This represented our call to unified intercession to extinguish the effects of these coming fires.
