I don’t know what to say
Except things didn’t start out this way
Those burdens when I would pray
At His feet I’d refused to lay
This was the price that I had to pay

Darkened thoughts, shadows in the mind
Doctor’s control, medicine will bind
“God, I thought all Your ways were kind”
Please can’t I just press rewind
Why, aren’t my clouds silver lined?

Then out of my crazy chaos storm
You spoke with a voice that was strong and warm
You saved me from all that self-inflicted harm
Simply by displaying you great charm
There was no need to cause an alarm

I don’t know what to say
Except that I never thought things would turn out this way
Power released when I pray
Grace to make it through another day
All because the price that You had to pay
